Coach Kyle

Coach Kyle

Kyle Lampi

Kyle Lampi a.k.a Lampsauce, (don't ask) was forged in the land of slot machines and Elvis impersonators. Viva Las Vegas! He moved out to Nashville in 2005 to conquer the music industry. If He's not trying to perfect his snatch, or working on handstand walks, you can find him in the studio recording and mixing records. A diehard CrossFit 615 member for the last 3 years, Kyle decided it was time to get his L1 and start coaching. With a strong fitness background ranging from sports, weightlifting, CrossFit, and even a black belt in Karate, he takes his health and the health of others seriously. Kyle is a fun loving guy who knows when to get to business, so next time you see him give him a high five, but beware... if you lift with bad form you might get karate chopped!

Coach Adele

Adele Willis

Adele grew up in Charleston, WV and competed through level 10 in Women's Artistic Gymnastics. She went to Clemson University to compete on the gymnastics team and study biology. There she competed in the all-around and served as the team president her senior year. Adele started her CrossFit journey her senior year at Clemson to supplement gymnastics training and to have a way to stay in shape after college sports. After graduation she moved to Morgantown, WV for work and began to focus more on her CrossFit training.  In 2014 she received her CrossFit Level 1 Certificate and began coaching. In 2015 she was just shy of qualifying for CrossFit Games Regionals, but in 2016 she qualified as an individual for the CrossFit Games Atlantic Regional (which is a big deal in the land of CrossFit!). Adele is now in the Physicians Assistant Program at Trevecca Nazarene University.

Coach Wes

Coach Wes

Wes Rivera

Wes was originally introduced to CrossFit back in 2012 in his parents garage. He and his brother hung a pull up bar from the rafters, built a box to jump on and made a medicine ball filled with sand. The equipment was limited and the workouts were simple, but effective. From an early age, he was very active. Wes played almost every sport out there and that is one of the things that drew him to CrossFit. In CrossFit, you have to be good at everything. Outside of the gym, Wes works for Results Physiotherapy where he helps take patients through various stretches and exercises to help rehab after injuries or surgeries. Sports have been a huge part of his life, and luckily here in Nashville we are blessed with professional hockey and football. If he's not at a sporting event you can catch him at any one of Nashville’s live music venues.

Qualifications

  • CrossFit Level 1 Trainer

Coach Sam

Coach Sam

Samantha Seldon

Samantha found her athleticism as a freshman at the University of Louisville when she tried out for the Novice Rowing team and surprised herself by making it. Rowing practice quickly became the highlight of her day, so she set her sights on making Varsity.  She surprised herself again by earning a spot in a varsity boat by the end of her freshman year. By the time she was a senior she competed in the top boat and was a captain on the team. Samantha attributed her vast improvement as a rower to the work she did in the weight room and saw a direct correlation between how much she could lift and how fast she could row, thus beginning a lifelong love affair with weightlifting.

Since college she’s run a marathon, has biked across the country, competed in Olympic Weightlifting, practiced CrossFit on and off since 2011, and (finally) got her CrossFit Level 1 in 2017.  She earned a B.A. in English from the University of Louisville in 2010 and a Master's of Effective Teaching from the Sposato Graduate School of Education in 2014.

When she’s not up in the gym just working on her fitness, you can probably find her trying to teach the latest batch of youths to love reading or snuggling with her too-cute-for-words pit/greyhound mix, Ali.

Qualifications

  • CrossFit Level 1 Trainer

  • CrossFit Gymnastics Certification
